1969 Camaro Copo - Project Part 1

So, we have been restoring this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Copo Recreation for the past 6 months and I meant to track the restoration along the way but I have obviously been slacking a little. Seeing how the car has already been disassembled and sandblasted. The floorpans have been repainted back with the original GM Chassis black as to has the subframe. The body has been painted back to the original Forest Green and it has already had the black interior pretty much installed. So, now that we have gotten you up to pace for the most part we can discuss what we attempted to do last night.
We set out to finish installing the brakes lines, front and rear windshield chrome and hook up oil line to gauge and install console. So, after about 2 hours of fun trying to figure out how the brake lines running from the rear of the car along with the lines running from the front brakes hooked up to the master cylinder, we finally admitted that we just did not have the correct lines. So, we will be calling Right Stuff today to order the proper lines and quite trying to use the "left over" lines from previous restorations. After, the brake line fiasco was over we moved on to front and rear windshield chrome and here is where we learned another tough lesson. If you have new windshields installed let us suggest that you have the windshield installer put your chrome on before the windshield glue sets up and makes it almost impossible to put on. So, today I will be calling our guy to come out and replace the front glass which I cracked last night trying to install the chrome and have him cut the rear glass out and install the chrome and windshields at the same time. Finally, oil line and console, this was not as difficult a task as the first two projects and pretty much fell into place for us thankfully. Here is a quick video of the car in its current state.
If you have any tips or tricks for restoring, please share them with us below as you can tell we need them!!
